blossoms - stone #11

I've really slipped with these daily observations.  Somehow it becomes harder to go back to them once you have a missed a day, then two days etc.

However, I think it's best just to keep going, not to be too critical with yourself and then to start the practice again.  The sun will always rise.

What a welcoming childlike image of the blossoms playing in the wind! It's nice to start over again and not be harsh when you've fallen off course, something I'm trying to do with my many neglected artistic interests.

Hi Jade, thanks for commenting. When life gets busy it can be easy to let creativity slip and stick to consuming media instead of creating. However it always feels good to return to my artistic interests - a bit like tending to my soul! I always mean to meditate and exercise daily, and spend some time writing, but it very rarely happens. But when it does, it feels 'right'. It can feel hard to start again, but doing anything is better than nothing.

Be kind to yourself, and have fun!
